How do I calculate the total price?
When you purchase a new-build flat, you are actually buying a piece of land on which we build a structure for you. You pay registration fees (12.5% in Brussels) and notary fees on the land, and 21% VAT on the structure.
To quickly calculate the total price including costs, add 20% to the price. In concrete terms: an apartment listed on the website for sale at €500,000 costs approximately €600,000 including costs, or only €545,000 with the 6% VAT concession.
